The Web Boutiques Story
Ed Hollingshead and Tom Bowden worked together for years within the software industry creating products for companies like Microsoft, Nokia, Sega & Sony Ericsson. They then decided to set up their own company back in 2003 to develop web software. Web Boutiques itself was born from the lack of decent products in the market place.
“We used a number of third party web software products for our clients at the time and found them all cumbersome and hard to use so we decided to create our own with the specific intention of making it as easy-to-use as possible. This has been a large part of Web Boutiques’ success, if you can use a word processing package you have enough technical ability to modify your website.” Tom Bowden
Web Boutiques then moved from strength to strength after many man-years of development by keeping the same easy-to-use ethos but adding large numbers of useful features – many driven by customer demand, others by forethought. This, combined with clean, professional web design and attention to detail, plus great customer service, make Web Boutiques a leading product in the market place today.
“With hundreds of websites in Oxfordshire our next move was to franchise Web Boutiques across the nation.” Ed Hollingshead
